Listen I was once like you, Rissa was my first HoloEN oshi. Back in the covid lockdown era I first encountered vtubers and Korone was the one who started it all for me. Mostly a casual watcher and oblivious to the whole idol aspect. Over the years I became more invested into the culture and am now someone who really treasures the idol journey aspect of Hololive. Seeing a goofy, dorky girl transform into a bonafide idol is addictive. Rissa really changed my whole view of such Vtubers. Before discovering her I just treated vtubers like they were just like any other streamer instead they used anime girl avatars. At first yeah I was drawn in by said anime model especially Nerissa's, when I discovered her. I genuinely liked the design alot because she was goth looking, tall and hot!
