I'm glad she's willing to branch out and do things outside of just streaming, but I wouldn't call what's been happening "The cost of a bit fewer streams", the streams have been noticeably fewer and the breaks more and more often. Likewise, the quality of the streams has been a lot of collabs this year.

Seems like we're in for more breaks as well; the end of next week - the end of the year with her family, then home early January which means break because "too tired from cleaning" then back to Japan for Fes and her concert, both in March, which again means breaks.

Like this isn't crapping on her in any way. I'm extremely happy for her that she's found a passion for the music and more involved type of content that takes a ton of behind the scenes effort.

For me though, I can't really pretend that, again in my opinion, it's worth it. Months of scant streams and many breaks all for concerts locked behind paywalls where I just straight up won't be able to see them legally. I'd personally rather have old, reliable Ina who streamed 4-5 days a week at the same time each day and was a comfy, reliable consistent content creator, not a burnt out sounding one on the rare occasion she actually does stream.

My issue with what Ina is doing right now is more general, but along a similar vein. We've lost the comfy Ina streamer. She sounds happier with what she's doing, but it's coming at the cost of her streams. 1 Member stream the entire year. 1. That's it. Solo streams? I don't think she even did half of what she did last year.

Yes she's doing more things behind the scenes, and that's great, but to me that's the icing on the cake. That's the desert for a great meal. It isn't THE meal. And that's what we're losing.

The community is what draws me to Hololive. And community requires consistent streams to foster and grow. A break here and there is fine. A month of slow down due to homework happens. But this has been going on nearly an entire year. And without that the community will slowly, but inevitably, die.
