Even without the precedent of Rushia having been fired 2 years earlier for literally the exact same thing, and even if Cover was not a publicly traded company, they still would have needed to fire Mel - not firing her for breaching NDA would have told their business partners that they take a "some employees are more equal than others" approach to contract violations, and it would have left a known information leaker in a position where she could leak more information.What she leaked, who she leaked it to, and whether or not it was an honest mistake without a hint of malice?
