For the love of God, let's clear up what these terms mean before we keep misidentifying talents.

Someone made a thread about Aqua being a "fake introvert" earlier, giving the reason "She likes to talk a lot", and it triggered the fuck out me.
There is nothing preventing an introvert from finding joy in talking. It's in HOW they talk, that they can be identified as lying on either end of the spectrum.
Introversion and extraversion have nothing to do with how much you like talking.

To quickly explain both terms, if we ask "Do you like sushi?",
An introvert may look inwards and say "Yes, I like the simplicity of its taste and the ingredients sit lightly in my stomach."
An extrovert may look outwards and say "Yes, there is a reason sushi is very popular all over the world. It's well-prepared and expertly crafted."
No one is purely one or the other and an extrovert may also reference the first response. An extrovert can obviously tell tasty food apart from bad food without relying on external qualities.
The key is that they prefer the second response in casual conversation about sushi.

In other words,
>introversion is about internally reflecting on an object.
>extraversion is about reflecting on an object using external qualities.
So naturally, extraversion gravitates towards a social aspect, but that doesn't mean you can't also resonate with someone using introversion.
This creates tendencies, like introverts tending to be more shy, and extroverts tending to be social butterflies, but that doesn't mean they're absolute.

I think we can all agree that someone like Subaru is extremely extroverted.
- She plays the straitman in virtually all jokes she is involved in because being a straitman is purely about comedically reflecting public expectation on an absurd event.
- She very often scolds her genmates for acting in ways that are not socially permissible.
- She becomes "playfully" physically abusive towards misbehaving talents because she believes that's how she is expected to act, without considering how the talents feel about it until they tell her.
These correlate much more with the function than just being able to talk a lot.

>Someone made a thread about
So why the fuck did you make a new thread instead of posting in that one?
It's literally right there
>>
>>107775841
I am not going to argue why I am not posting this in a low-quality bait thread.
>>
>>107775578
>and it triggered the fuck out me
You dont belong here reddit/bluesky tranny.
Eat shit drink piss and hang yourself retard.
>>

>I made a low quality bait thread to counter another low quality bait thread
So now there's two of them. Great job, anon.
>>
>>107775993
How is my thread bait or low-quality?
>>
>>107775578
You are talking about Introverted feeling vs extroverted feeling, not introversion vs extroversion, which is about how we gain and lose mental energy: i.e do we feel emotional drained or energized after meeting with our friends
>>
A noble effort, but you're dealing with people who are either A) willfully ignorant to stir drama or 2) shut-ins that lack the emotional intelligence to know the difference
>>
>>107776167
You're explaining how MBTI bastardized Jung's original framework.
MBTI is a spin on Jung's work to be more marketable, virtually all academics agree that it's useless.
>>
>>107775578
faggot
>>
>>107776952
Its the same in the Big Five which is what every professional uses these days
>>
>>107777026
I have never heard anyone define extraversion as gaining energy in the Big Five, it's an MBTI thing.
>>
I find the other thread more entertaining that this drivel.
>>
>>107777229
Your thread is on page 8, bro. Can't be that entertaining if you choose to bump this one instead.
>>
I feel like we're complicating things here.
It's pretty simple. Introverts don't like to talk much and/or being around too many people, extroverts are the opposite.
I think that due to the nature of this job it's natural that you need to be an extrovert to entertain your audience. There's no introvert vtuber or streamer, since it needs to create some form of interaction which a genuine introvert person might struggle with.

That's it.
>>
>>107777550
Talking on a stream is projecting inner thoughts, something introverts excel at when talking in their head. You can't tell on stream alone, it has to be collab.
>>
I dunno what y'all smoking.

introvert - drained by talking with randos, usually in person. Needs a break after a while.

extrovert - energized by talking to many different people including strangers.

Introverts can yak a lot 1 on 1 and in small groups. That's not a problem for them. Extroverts will go out of their way to socialize because it makes them feel good.
I do agree that for most people it's a mix and varies over time. Don't mix up introversion with social anxiety even tho they're comorbid.

>There's no introvert vtuber or streamer, since it needs to create some form of interaction which a genuine introvert person might struggle with.
So you're saying that regular 4chan posters are all extroverts?
Damn, I've been lied to this whole time...
>>
>>107775578
nobody who talks for a living is introverted

women in general aren't introverted unless they're fuck ugly, it's too easy for them to get positive attention just by existing in public
>>
>>107778810
I don't think that's true. The performance is separate from social interaction. It just takes more out of them.

OP is possibly the most retarded being I have ever had the honor to interact with on 4chan. Well done.

Anyone who unironically calls themselves an "Introvert" or "Extrovert" and feels a group identification with those labels is universally a tedious person in my experience.
The MBTI shit is supposed to be about observing and describing different types of personality behaviour seen in the wild. It's a society-level aggregate statistic, not an individual caste. Individuals can and will move along the various spectrum of personality behaviour in different contexts or different points in their life.
There is nothing immutable or innate in your person that makes you an "Introvert", or any of the other pop-psyche classifiers. You just have a certain pattern of behaviours that you're choosing to emphasize for the sake of a narrative, while you ignore or de-emphasize all the behaviours that contradict the narrative you are trying to construct.
The moment someone decides "this is my label" and starts constricting the bounds of "acceptable" behaviour for themselves purely for the sake of that label, they become exhausting to deal with. I don't give a shit if you consider yourself an "Introvert", you have responsibilities to society that involve interacting with others. I don't give a shit if you consider yourself an "Extrovert", you have responsibilities to society that involve shutting your fucking mouth every now and then and listening passively to others.

ninjasaurusrexatron here have been grooming olivia monroe for years god i fucking love extraversion im gonna suck dadroes cock and fuck momroe in a fouraway with their daughters after i suck off her brothers

>chloe is both INTP and ENFJ
???
>>
>>107775578
Here I'll simplify it.
It's because people think that introversion = socially awkward and socially unaware, because that's what they themselves are.
>>
>>107775578
>introversion is about internally reflecting on an object.
>extraversion is about reflecting on an object using external qualities.
what is this garbage
>>

>To quickly explain both terms, if we ask "Do you like sushi?",
Extrovert will say "yes, let's go grab some sushi"
Introvert will say "yes, now excuse me I need to be elsewhere"
>>
>>107782247
Extrovert will say "yes, let's go grab some sushi"
Even if they don't want to get sushi with (you)
Introvert will say "yes, now excuse me I need to be elsewhere"
Because they don't want to get sushi with (you)
>>
>>107776167
>You are talking about Introverted feeling vs extroverted feeling
The explanation with the object and directional thought applies to all functions.
>not introversion vs extroversion, which is about how we gain and lose mental energy:
Being an introvert or being an extrovert has nothing to do with gaining or draining mental energy through social interaction, i and e just describe whether your dominant function flows inwards or outwards.
Mental energy is a heuristic at best.
>>
>>107775578
yes mucho texto but in the end aqua was a fake introvert since all her streaming career she basically acted like she was bocchi or something. when in fact pekora was the actual introvert. i base this on all the stories EN and jp have shared during big events and meets with each other.
>>
>>107775578
what people considers extraversion vs intraversion is simply how much people tend to be able to deal with social situations involving 3 or more people and to be honest is not even that practical considering the high degree of isolation in modern gens between being single children and digital isolation (and also the condemic) plus even if you get the basics is still quite difficult since people can just jump to the other sides of their mind really easily in that type of situation
>>
>>107775578
ok but who asked
>>
>>107781638
she did it twice at different times and got different results
>>
>>107785123
the test is almost useless, if she wants to know her personality she needs to deal with someone that understands about cognitive functions and have a interview, it would be a decent idea for a stream

>>
>>107785250
No idea who that faggot is, but you're right.
MBTI tests are very useless.
>>
>>107775578
are you retarded?
You write intrOversion, and then you write extrAversion?
Both have O in there, intrOversion and extrOversion.
The sad part is that then you write extrOvert correctly in the OP text. You're a fucking idot!

Extravert is the correct spelling, you fucking burger. OP used the latin variant, the language where the bloody term originated from. ExtrOvert got popular because it's somehow easier to say for you retarded hillbillies lmfao
