I get why they do it. It's them finally taking action to do stuff with a person they talked behind the scenes (and sometimes on stream) about doing something with. With the talent leaving, they can basically kill off ant remainder of 'homework' that Cover had for them because they won't be here meaning their schedule opens up massively, and everyone else who's staying just knocks off whatever they were doing for a day or two because they know there won't be another chance.
I kinda understand when it comes to talents who've done very little together on-stream, but who knows what happens in their little discords or at the studio.

What reason would they have to celebrate Kanata? Their 20 minutes of fame ended years ago because Aki didn't want to be lewd anymore, Choco got temp-banned for doing that and won't regularly do that elsewhere in a affordable way.
