That doesn't sound like much but it's a much more modern and efficient codec than MP3. Allegedly 128kbps Opus is better than 320kbps MP3 and basically transparent. For guaranteed transparency, it only needs 192kbps or so, so you save a lot of space compared to higher bitrate formats.

So even if it seems safe to get later, you WILL regret not archiving streams as soon as they're done. You could track all the streams you download, then go back and redownload them when they've been converted, but that's way too much effort for a difference you likely won't even notice.
