Here's my honest take as someone who has been here awhile, the whole wife/husband experience and dynamic was truly fun before the first shondothon. My initial love for her revolved around simply enjoying her company on stream. There was a nice implicit atmosphere of just playing off her ungrounded infatuation and treating her like a menhera kid sister/daughter who kept telling you that she wanted to marry you.

Then sometime after the shondothon, when more people joined, it started being really unfun and sometimes even toxic when some began treating this like a competition. Some shoggas would turn into literal toxic manchildren (fleece and the like), or some would spam the chat literally every stream, or attempt to stand out in other performative ways in an attempt to get a crumb of her attention. The vibe noticeably started shifting from playful to exhausting.

The irony is that the whole thing only worked as long as everyone understood it wasn’t real. Once people started treating it like an actual relationship, the fantasy collapsed and forced her to put up hard boundaries. Even if she often said things to the contrary by encouraging these actions, deep down she's said before all she really wanted was a nice place to hang out on stream and play pretend marriage/house with the little men in her computer. But making her say this again and again out loud, of course, from a highly medicated schizoaffective girl with abandonment issues unironically dried up any passion she may have actually felt towards her community.

Indeed, the correct move was to treat this like a pretend marriage all along. Its why I've been able to shrug this off pretty easily unlike the people who can’t function because they saw this as a validation area. I've always just viewed her as a cute and funny streamer, who now no longer wants to play pretend wife.

TLDR: I'm getting a deep schadenfreude that some of the most obnoxious shoggers are finally dropping off like flies. Hopefully this tones down the rest's behavior, but I honestly still hold my breath on that. It just takes one lapsed judgement or moment from her calling someone "cute", or "bAseD" when they're being fucking disruptive and annoying again on stream to encourage the mentally ill to keep being mentally ill. Its why I hope the delusional people who are still lingering on and haven't gotten the message to fuck off too, honestly its better for their own sake.
