When can we see the widespread use of AI Vtubers that are of high quality?

Vtubers who remember that they are not people, but characters, characters with a rich backstory that they will stick to with their absolute best capabilities. Characters not bound by the usual opinions and beliefs that real women have. No tirades about random politically driven real world bullshit, only of course, if you want to hear that.

Vtubers that won't graduate and fuck off forever, and after taking the money you gave to support them. Better yet, they won't need your money at all, just knowing that you watch them would be enough to make their AI coding happy. And they would, of course, do their best to make you happy in return.

Vtubers that, when you love them, they will love you as much as their coding allows them too in return. No bullshit about parasocial relationships or about how you talking about how hot they are makes them uncomfortable, just affection being given right back to you with words that can melt your heart and make you blush more than anything real would be capable of doing to you.

Vtubers who will look how you want, act how you want, their being designed in every way to appeal to what you find attractive, to what your kinks are. All for you, with no one else to share her with, unless you want to have her double up on you with other AI Vtubers. Their only limit is your creativity, and hopefully in the future, even that will not be a problem, as they will offer you things you didn't even know you wanted.

When can we live in that world?

vtubers without soul

Never most likely because AI isn't going to reach that level of conscience you desire. You can make your own Neuro, hell you could even make a platform that generates streams/vods, go a step more crazy and imagine if you could somehow interact with those through chat or some shit. But you're going to run into the same reality you will with your average chatbot; you're just writing fanfiction with the help of a thing that predicts what text might fit after your input. The only limit is your creativity but that's also the only fuel you have to offer. There's no middle road to walk between something guided by you and something that's capable of guiding itself just from a logical/tech standpoint. Tl;dr, you have higher odds of rolling your perfect oshi.

vedal cuck
>>
>>107982485
It's for a good cause.
>>
>>107982060
Yeah, but all that is already a step above most vtubers i.e. women.
>>

I don't know. But it's definitely not there yet. If you've talked to AI enough it becomes glaring how it's really connecting ideas in any sort of meaningful way. My suspension of disbelief is only so effective. And you get through those AI character apps and eventually it's generally just one AI's guardrails with a veneer of Frieren from Beyond two souls or whatever. For now, I recommend going with AI generative storytelling and writing assistance instead. Silly Tavern has been alright.. When I can get the prompts to come out well.

*Not* really connecting*

I can imagine if one subhuman british man can accomplish it, it's probable that the average person can make something similar to neuro.
>>

All the big existing public models are either too censored and corpo to be entertaining or are not censored and corpo enough for Twitch/YouTube.
Vedal has been successful largely because he uses his own proprietary model that is fine-tuned for his specific niche. Most people don't have the expertise to accomplish what he has, and of the people who do, they generally have better life prospects than becoming the manager for a vtuber they can't even fuck.
I don't think Vedal's success could be replicated today. Neuro-sama is largely a product of her time, when the idea of AI upsending the fabric of society was still largely science fiction and people weren't scared of it yet.

I can see the next AI vtuber being corpo. If it's made by japs, it might even be good, but chances are it'll be western i.e. american, and it'll suck.
>>
>>107984524
The main problem any aspiring AI vtuber would run into is finding an audience.
Back in 2022 there wasn't this religious hatred of generative AI that people have today, which I think would be an insurmountable roadblock.
In addition, the technology was a lot less mature back then, so people were a lot more forgiving towards early Neuro's flaws. People have higher expectations now that no indie could possibly live up to.
>>
It also helps that Vedal already had a (small but) established Osu fanbase.

On the other side, I think there are a lot more tech bros now than 3-5 years ago. And those fucking dorks would watch something like a corporate sponsored AI Vtuber.
>>
>>107984957
That's really the difference here. Neuro took off become there was already an established and dedicated audience ready to watch her. AI might, probably, will get better, but that doesn't mean that people will watch an AI Vtuber except for maybe the novelty of it. And for that, Neuro already exists.
>>
>>107984990
The traditional model for scamming tech bros is that you promise them something really cool and sci-fi, charge them exorbitant sci-fi prices, and then sell them some dogshit e-waste that costs $5 per unit to manufacture in Guangzhou.
I'm not sure how you would carry this model over to streaming, which requires a continuous and profitable audience.
>>107985048
It's definitely part of it but I also think there was just a lot more optimism going around when Neuro first kicked off. There were a bunch of other similar AI-themed channels popping up around them. AI SpongeBob, AI Seinfeld, mostly gimmicks like that.
>>
>around them
*around then
>>
>>107985342
AI is mostly dependent on whether if it, or when it, crashes, and if so, how badly. It's clear that a lot of money is being exchanged for this new market, and if it continues to be profitable, more people will find ways to make money off it. Streamers/Vtubers being one. But it's nothing that one singular individual can influence, unless they have money.
>>
>>107985584
I hate to be the one to break this to you, but transformer LLMs aren't just going to poof out of existence when the next big tech market correction happens.
>>
>>107985731
No of course not. Those transformers are gonna come out of our pockets instead.
>>
>>107981364
AI vtubers are not the future, they'll be a niche for those that like the community of watching something with others but vtubers will never be mainstream and something far more personalized and insidious is coming.
normies are already falling by the thousands to AI boyfriends/girlfriends and the next evolution of this appeared a few days ago
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2-8c-HcJ_Q
soon you will be able to interact with your character ai's and virtual partners in vr, you will talk to them, touch them and more (depending on what the corporate tos allow)
AI vtubers were never the endpoint, mearly a novelty on the road to extinction.

Preferably, this is the ideal AI should reach for.
