its a good base. the most important part is the silhouette with the ears is instantly recognizable. the only downside is that as a mouse vtuber youre always going to be compared to ironmouse. her model is more moe though, so you can either lean into loli or milf. also the colour scheme could pop more, black as a base is always iffy but other than that youve got a really good draft here.

>>108175559black and red is a fair enough pallette, but if you're going goth go all the way and do black lipstick. even if its Gothic Lolita still do it. more detailed eyes are important too, smug 25-7 is not enough depth, you need to make sure your model can express other emotions. Red eyes I feel like hasnt been done too much so good luck.other things to think about is future merch and future wallpaper designs, would your character look good as an acrylic stand or keychain, that sort of thing
>>108175559I guess if you are starting out anything is fine and you can improve on it later.In the end it is not as much about the design but about how well you can wear it. Sometimes having a simple design like this can be a boon too as it makes adding features easier. Think about stuff like dressing up your model differently for every game, cosplaying as characters and such.And streaming is more about how entertaining (or flaunting other qualities like knowledge about obscure topics) you are. Most people watch in another tab or on 2nd monitor, with vtubers on as background noise. It is really important to get your mic settings right (you dont need some expensive mic mind you mics are at a level where even cheap shit is good. Its all just settings) so go into you OBS and fiddle with them. For the same reason try to not have too much dead air and yap a lot, or at least make cute noises.If you are male you will most likely have more success outside of vtubing, male tubers are not something vtuber fans are largely interested in (unless we are speaking about chink fem coomers like in Niji but the market is saturated already.) Not a fan of red eyes but whatever.Good luck.
