But after that I've just started searching about high-masking autism and honestly it's a lot of bullshit pop-science to sort through to get to the bottom of things which I'm just beginning.I used to have a VERY autistic friend to whom I compared myself to, the shit your pants and rant about Naruto kind, and always just thought "I'm not one of *those* people". Despite having various symptoms I always just reasoned to myself that I'm not autistic because I can behave how people expect to, am aware how I'm being perceived and I don't HAVE to outwardly sperg out about anything even if I might be imploding internally. As for understanding others, I usually manage by creating like simulations with actors and consider how they might act or behave rather than something that might come intuitively and effortlessly (does it? I don't know!).

It all relies on be being able to simulate reasonable behavior a reasonable person might have so I might struggle with some people, like I just can't believe I'm not getting through to them and am at loss for words after every avenue of the branching dialogue tree of possible conversations I conjured has been exhausted.

i think doing these asmr videos is a good way to add some variety for break days when streams aren’t scheduled. I know it takes more effort than maybe just doing clips, but it’s enjoyable in a different way. Streams could work too if we’re just having fun

I know you hate doing it but you have to listen to the one you made and try to find parts you like/dont like and start to form associations with the technique and the sound you want. Its something you gotta experiment with. I also recommend listening to a variety of other ASMR yourself to find inspiration and hone your skills. Check /tingles/? Think about the kind of atmosphere and service you want to provide. Do you want to help people sleep? Get them off? Help them deal with bad emotions? Tell a story? Feel closer to you romantically? Hypnotize them? That should help you choose a direction.
