Someone explain this 6 7 meme to me
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQIS6hkX6EY
>>
nobody tell unc

some rap song happened to have 6 7 as lyrics for some reason, then that caused some quirk in Tiktok's algorithm where just mentioning 6 7 increases engagement, then zoomies brainrotted from Tiktok starting repeating 6 7, and then it became the new le hecking funny number that makes boomers and people "not in the know" (not that most who use it know anyway) mad.

Is this better rapping than Mori?

personally I find the assonance and consonance used in this song more elegant than normal rhyme. from a writer perspective it is harder to write something like this and have it sound good, it would be much easier to just use perfect rhyme

its funny when the girls try to use popular memes because they are always late to the party. i dont know if its on purpose or if they are just that out of the loop.
>>
>>108372529
>it came from some rap song
>the actual number is a code for the cops reporting a murder
>a kid says it in a sportsball game because he found it funny or something
>gets famous for it, zoomies follow it with brainrot language
>gets turned into an absurdist meme where the joke is NOT having a punchline
even those old meme numbers make more sense than this meme
>>
>>108372771
they're just old
before you realize it you too will be late to the newest trends

i think it's well in purpose this time. GG has been very well aware of the meme for many months, she just decided to push this more now because at the turn of the year the popularity has started to fade down and some of the gen alphas now consider it cringe and overdone.
And that's now kinda her thing to do cringy things.

the 67 meme was blessed by Saint (Emeritus) Gura, so we like it now actually

Apparently one of the basketball players was 6'7 and had just scored a point, so the kid was actually making a logical connection in the moment of crlebration

gaslighting.
i had a dog named seven, he got sick.
sick seven

the 10 year anniversary of his death is coming up.
sick seven.
i had a dog named CJ, so expect memes that go "see ya", i also had a dog name moko, so, that explains the fuwawa mococo

anyways, don't worry too much about it, sick seven, acht nein

Gigi does it on purpose because she enjoys cringe, Kiara is out of step, Kronii is already cringing when someone says it. Biboo doesn't give a fuck, she finds it funny.

>>108372529
No
>>
None of the origin matters, the only important thing is that it's meant to be confusing, that's the joke
It's a new age lol so randum

I was in a theatre recently, and behind me there were some kids with their fucking mom. Like 4 kids and a mother. And one of the kids, about 13 years old, FOR THE FULL ONE HOUR, like a fucking broken record, would screech "six seven! six seven!" on repeat. He didn't say anything fucking else. It was an hour of "SIX SEVEN! SIX SEVEN!"

I felt my soul escape my body. I watched myself from above, I rose to way above Earth and saw myself, dead, as a speck on the planet. Meaningless, helpless, unimportant. In that one hour, any and all hope I had for the humanity has evaporated from my mind, leaving only a hollow sense of premonition that the future is way more ominous than I could've ever imagined.

I wish that story was made up. I yearn this was a joke. I hope that didn't happen.

Yet, it did.

tl;dr 6 7 is 69 but forced.
Zoomers thought the numbers 69 being a meme was funny and wondered if they could make their own but with no actual meaning behind it.

As >>108372866 said there's a little history behind it but it only stays relevant because of absurdism and the dedication to making a joke without a punchline and forcing people to go "AW MAN 6 7? THEY GOT ME AGAIN."
