Genuine question, new here.What makes someone /freak/ material? It seems like theres a big mix here.Some seem to be posted here because they simply have freak type avatars.Others have normal avatars but you can right off the bat tell they are actually fucking weird.Very few seem to be both.

I'd say it's adherence to certain spirit of unorthodox, provocative. Not everyone will be like that here, but it's just how things are now. Personally, I think there are a decent amount of surface level freaky-ness with some v-tubers being a tad odd and being into surface level /x/ stuff, which can be jarring when they're next to a post mentioning Akira or Cena, who do vomit and ryona content. V-tubers like Kiki, despite being pretty likeable, don't really do anything that makes them stand out anymore, compared to how they were just years ago, like when Kiki was noticeably more edgy, genuine and would do gross things. I don't really know why she's still posted on /freak/, outside of it just being a tradition

She wrote some fucking blogposts to multiple streamers about how they should kill themselves.She didn't even deny most/any of this because it was easy to document, but instead blamed it on her exposure to 4chan lmao.She actually had a chance to become a fairly large streamer, she was on a team with some pretty big names for that tournament, but her teammates who were also all streamers leaked dms of shit she was saying to them, and then the tournament host found evidence of her cheating and asked for a small handcam to be on during the tournament, to which she denied, so she got kicked because of that and the toxicity.
