I can't say I like this development. Discussions about whether Neuro and Vedal deserve it aside, I don't like the foundation this lays for the future of EN Vtubing. Normies have had their attention drawn to the sphere by Ironmouse and Neuro, and their takeaway will be to conflate the success of vtubing in the west with chronic illness and artifical intelligence. Neuro's fans are as normie-adjacent as humanly possible while barely staying a "vtuber fan". They have no respect for any ounce of the quirks of vtuber culture because they are engrossed in the growth and the journey of Neuro.
