You’re at the mercy of this process that barely works at all for small channels because it can’t begin to estimate what your audience is so it just dumps your videos wherever it can, no matter what your tags are, no matter what you do for your seo or to lead it. Youtube is a crap shoot for small channels and it’s incredibly naive to say it’s just because the content is bad and nobody wants it. This is not a new phenomenon, it has been complained about for years and widely accepted that the algorithm is spotty at best but without fail there will always be a fellow 0 view saying the persons videos they haven’t even seen are bad because the overwhelming need to defend muh corpo as if they’re going to karma themselves into having more views by doing so.
