Kiryu Coco was not the first Holo to make an effort to connect with the western audience.
Korone tried her best, it didn't really click.
Then Coco (native en speaker) joined and focus shifted from hana machia to her.
Asacoco was used as a platform by other holos to shitpost, and korone became a regular.
Asacoco became super popular with even nijis recommending it, and more people got to know how adorable korone was.
Then korosan played Blasphemous, Doom, Heavy Rain and other western games and that's how she took over the world.
