She actually tanked quite a lot of the horror this game offers the issue was that she was frustrated with her lack of progress that wore her patience thin and decided to click on "easy mode" which doesn't really change a lot on the game anyway but don't tell the "tryhard gaymers" union I said that
But the lack of progress was her fault all along because at one point she had access to movie reels that would tell her how to progress the game much faster and the only thing she needed to do was leave her flashlight thing on a stand that says "LEAVE YOUR FLASHLIGHT THING HERE", which revealed a bridge to said movie reels, but then she took it off that stand, the bridge disappeared and she had a spaz out for several minutes trying to reach the movie reels by jumping and ending up falling into the water and she concluded "welp probably i need to do something else before I reach those movie reels" and for several episodes she was struggling with some other areas, that are much harder to reach.
Which is presumably why her next Let's play episode is titled [Fool].

Owlks approach you at 1/10th the speed in general
I honestly thought it just nuked the patrolling owlks but I'm glad at least theyre still around. It just depends if someone basically just runs past them I guess if it ruins the experience or not

She doesn't actually like Outer Wilds or its DLC. Her lack of interest in exploring things even in the base game made that very clear. The game is made to cater to the way a male brain works so it shouldn't be too surprising but yeah, it is quite disappointing. If you want to see the game from the perspective of someone that actually likes it, I recommend some male let's plays like the one by About Oliver or IsNotRetro.

She's only turned it on after a while of banging her head against a wall in the simulations. She's experienced how it works normally, and the reduced frights will just speed up the rest of the simulation parts (it just makes the owls slower and less perceptive of you)

You almost don't need to deal with the Owl Deer Dudes at all: so long as you get the timing right, water will kill most of them, with only one going on patrol where you have to pass by.

She actually figured that out already, but there isn't much time in the loop left to see things when it happens, so you can't get lost or waste time, which is the problem. So, it's a solved puzzle, but Nimi just isn't grinding it out to the finish.

the real topic being discussed is why one of the most overrated games ever made is actually much worse than people will admit
