I think at some point the idea of a catch-all thread like global just doesn't work as well as it used to anymore.Think about it. Such a thread now spans many many years of holo fans and some 60+ girls. What are the odds you want to hear or read about so many of them who you don't really care about though? Five years ago odds were good you were interested in Myth and even if x or y in there wasn't your oshi you probably liked the others. Nowadays though it's so much more spread out. If you don't care about a whole bunch of holos who get the most discussion in global, why would you be there?
