Viewers are also recommended other viewers that they @, reply to, or mention by name. The obvious strategy ( showing up in similar streamers' chats to be recommended to active chatters ) is like leeching. Most streamers have rules about self-promotion. It's a subtle art. Beyond that, rely on viewers who skulk around low-view streams of their favorite genres and games. The odds are good but the goods can be odd.
