VERY IMPORTANT ART SCAM WEB RAFFLES AND VGEN

(A friend checked when I told her this morning after she had the same problem, and she realised that on her wall, she saw some raffles, and they're all based in indonesia. They all use the same approach method of writing.)

I want to warn people about something. I hope we could spread this information..

You probably noticed that there's been a lot of raffles where the artist contacts you for a 'gift' even if you lose. If you check their country, it's often enough on indonesian or thai. (They also have vgen codes, and once they get verif they open more profiles with their own key codes)

I will now explain what goes on, since I have indonesian friends who have told me about this.

They are often a group of Indonesian scammers behind, even if the person appears to be one sweet girl looking for commissioners.

In fact, they don't know how to draw, make logos, or art at all. They commission small indonesian artists for very low prices then give you the commission as if they are the one drawing it.

I also got scammed that way a while ago, they were reselling my 2d on FB +deviantart and I ended finding the real artist, who sold her commissions for waaaay smaller prices.

Often enough in these groups, the indonesian artist is not aware, or they are guilty tripped into accepting to join them as a shadow member, like an artist I know. One of these victims is @/Laaras, she asked my help and she made a tweet a while ago (she is very sweet with cute art). We contacted Vgen months ago, but they never acted or answered.

Please be careful with this scam. Because it's not only about prices way being higher for you while real artist is paid way less, but they will also resell your designs, live2d etc in facebook or other sites.

Adding to this, its the same thing for rigging, giving them the files allows them to resell it out here. Since it is in the asian market, the probability of you both finding each other is low, unless one becomes very popular. They also know that bigger vtubers wouldnt contact them for mid-quality art or rigs, so it is bullet proof.

You are free to drop your opinion, and help bring on more proof and suspicions. Please do not bully anyone, some are legit hard working artists. These artists who are guilty tripped or threatened are also often enough under the age of 20, and not outspoken enough to say anything.

These people do a private web of keys, every time one of their accounts gets verified, they use these keys to make another more for their accounts, they also change name names when under suspicion, to start again. They also use keys to make other indonesian artists who are unable to get one do some free art for them.

WARNING : All of this comes from people I have contacted through the months, but none wanted to speak out about it, so PLEASE if you know anyone in this situation, or yourself are in it, please let us hear your voice, otherwise we'll never be able to stop this scam going around.
