But if you want to talk about benefits that AI has had, for example in my work it acts as a better search engine or can generate boiler plate code for me instead of me having to write it. Other benefits are that AI enables people who can't draw to generate art and assets for themselves instead of being reliant on paying artists for it. I at least enjoy having more artwork available of more niche characters or genres when the other option would be not having any of that available or requiring me to pay someone to make it. Like I honestly just don't care how some image I fap to has been created. If I want to have a lot of images of Suisei stuck in a wall, I now can either generate them or look at the plethora of ones that someone has made.

The entire framework as in the entire theory behind this tech is flawed and will never achieve what is being promised but since they poured trillions of dollars into it, no one wants to be the first to sink the ship.
