I was a terrible brother, I'd constantly call them names (retard, spastic, mongaloid, useless etc) and hit them up the side of the head or throw food at them but they never stopped begging for my attention, following me around and they treasured everything I gave them; whether handmade plushies, books and clothes, or clay statues, carvings and electronics that I made at school they would take care of it all and have a break down if anything got damaged.The only reason I could see why they liked me so much was because our parents treated me like an adult.My mother and stepdad fought constantly but never in front of me since they were both borderline retarded and the only thing that kept the house functioning was me, as a child, doing the household budgeting and fixing things that broke. As a result my sisters would come to whatever room I was in and play with toys or just watch me work on things if our "parents" were a bit too aggressive with each other.I was never fond of my sisters even if they adored me since they were too stupid to understand basic things and they couldn't do anything by themselves but in hindsight that's probably just how most kids are
