ehh.... i feel like letting egos get involved isn't the right play. my play would be wait out the couple days while milking the drama and "politely" asking the bitch to remove the strike, then delete the video if it fails. ego means not wanting to lose to this bitch, but being smart is thinking what you can win - good publicity. the victim points would be worth more than 1.7k views imo. so i'd keep the moral high ground and milk it.

Deleting the VOD doesn't remove the copyright strike, it's basically an admission of guilt. The strike will stay active for 90 days and 2 more strikes during that time will auto-delete your channel. You need to contact a lawyer so you can use their contact information to put into the counter claim since you probably don't want to use your own and dox yourself. More than likely once the counter claim is submitted and Youtube actually reviews it they will remove the strike and potentially ban the false claimants channel.
