I've made the mistake at lashing out at other mems in the past on Miko's behalf. Not directly mind you, but cursing their actions here.

I am totally fine with and probably think it's better at this point for Miko to shrink her audience significantly. But this is the stuff that worries me, her popularity never gained her anything good from Cover but if promotions get significantly worse in actual sales, a lot of the cool stuff she got to do before (due to companies other than Cover) may stop. It's not like she had to be number one to start these partnerships but this is likely one of those scenarios where limited goods come in handy so that it's more likely they still sell out if the audience shrinks.

Also, I would have preferred streaming remain fun for her even if she had a smaller audience but instead this feels like she'll stop being an outlier in the company and become more like most members who stream very randomly and infrequently. The biggest part of why I stuck with Miko for so many years when I couldn't with other Holos was her consistency. Maybe that just makes me the casuals she's trying to get rid of.

I wouldn't worry about Miko's Taiyaki collab or her merch campaigns. The same DD accounts still list Miko as one of their oshis, and for most of them, she is their main. There is only one X account claiming to be a 35P that has never bought a single piece of merch and has only reposted a single fanart. While I won’t deny there might be some schizos among other fanbases, if you look at the #Overseas35P hashtag, there are several Sukonbu, Subatomo, Miofa, Koronesuki, and Onigiryaa posting that, even though they aren't 35P themselves, they support Miko. They’ve even expressed admiration for how 35P rallied behind her during the GC situation.

The channel of that creep Maria is already on its deathbed. I managed to remove two of his videos for harassment and bullying. YouTube has already demonetized the channel, and while it will take him 30 to 90 days to reapply, he will have a hard time getting approved again, this is especially likely considering he uses generative AI and several of his videos were removed for harassment and copyright infringement. Cover and Miko's legal team are definitely filing a lawsuit against him.

Honestly, the humidifier got way more attacks than this book has and that turned into a much bigger success than anyone anticipated.
