Mori releases so many songs each year that it was easy for Sepia to get drowned under the numerous other songs. Unicorns ignored the song because it had a guy while casual Hololive fans generally skip the songs which are cynical. When your in the middle of a recession you don't really want to be reminded that everyone is greedy and gullible.

Seeing how unenthusiastic that guy was in the live performance was pretty funny

Song is pretty mid, took a look at the artist to see what he’s about and he just has the most insane MVs for all of his songs that are popular, genuinely go check out his 29 million views song it’s one of the coolest MVs I’ve ever seen. But yeah her solo song with the same tone (Orpheus) and her collab that resulted in actually good music (Gold Unbalance) both did well, so I’d say this is an unfortunate combination of bad factors coming together.
