Management would have been well within their rights to terminate her for encouraging fans to infringe on the company's IP rights (all of the livers' MVs are Anycolor's intellectual property) even if the fans would also have been well within their rights to be furious about them taking down her MV and firing her for being angry about it.But they didn't fire her for encouraging IP infringement. They didn't even suspend her for it; they suspended her for the other half of that tweet, the "management privated the MV" half. They demanded that she personally delete that tweet and publish a tweet claiming that she herself set it to private and that it was solely her decision to do so, and the company told her family that they wouldn't take "she's literally in a mental health hold because she just tried to take her own life due to harassment from within the company" for an answer.The rest is history.
