I distinctly remember her saying she would be gone for 4 days after her RE8 stream and she ended up taking over a week and never gave any clear indication on why. Prior to that, the longest break she took was like 3-4 days long,, From then, she would announce her breaks and the duration, but she'd always take longer, like when she said she was going to go hunting for a new house. It progressively got worse from then on when she realized she could get away with it without any real backlash. Now she's totally used to it and has nothing to fear.There's also the fact that she moved to an entirely new continent and probably found herself a man. Even after all the breaks she took, she would always come back talking about how she missed her fans and love them and all that. She would plan special streams like her maid RP or other out of the ordinary streams for her fans. But at some point she stopped. I suspect the reason was because she got a bf and he wasn't okay with, or she herself didn't feel right doing it anymore. At this point, she's probably too jaded to care about any of it anymore, and not being part of a company anymore lessens the feeling of obligation towards doing anything for her fans. She's also autistic and incrediby lazy, so why not phone it in when you have the ability to do so and make passive income regardless.
It's weird that people here don't seem to understand that as you work at a job longer and longer you hate it more and more and eventually if you can you'd just take months off. Most people can't do that, but vtubers can.
