Unrelated: I was thinking about something. Right now I use a browser extension that allows me to set any word or phrase on my browser to be highlighted any color I want. I use it to keep track of Korean or Chinese characters in novels I read online because something in my brain just refuses to remember the difference between Xian Fan and Xiang Lin, shit like that. It also allows me to add a description to this highlighted word so I can add a summary to the character to remind me of who they are. But what I was thinking is I'd like to have some sort of AI integration to automatically do this for me, and even scrape the novel's text for a description of each character to have a portrait of the character to help me keep track even better. Then the dialogue in the novel could have the portrait next to it whenever that character is speaking. Anyway I'm just spitballing about how AI can be used to make a normal novel more dynamic.
