Do you ever just look through the retired vtubers of a failed/defunct agency, listen to their 2000 view original songs full of hopes and dreams and think about what could of been
>>
Actually yeah. It motivated me to start livestreaming and making stuff on YouTube myself.
'Cause you think yeah it's hard to get popular and whatever but you look at all of these people that WERE popular and were corporate backed phenomenons in their own right take the spotlight only to end up in the shitter and vanish overnight.
It's the kind of stuff that makes you say fuck it.
>but people won't like your stuff
Fuck it let's go anyway
>>
The world is overflowing with failed attempts and brash ambitions.

It really sucks because in the end, not everyone's gonna make it.
I was lucky in that my oshi actually grew into a bit of a big shot, but I had no idea how special she'd be at the time.

What really sad is finding similar sparks in other girls that my oshi has and thinking, "Oh man they're gonna be great too" only for things to never really work out and they either lose their drive, just never get the opportunity to go big, or something tragic happens and they just lose all momentum if not go backwards.

The saddest story I can remember is Minori. Life is precious anons. None of us are here forever.
>>
Not really, that's just life. You could spend that time cheering for the ones who still have a chance instead.

>There are songs enough for the hero
>who dwells on the heights of fame;
>I sing for the disappointed –
>for those who missed their aim

>I sing with a tearful cadence
>for one who stands in the dark,
>And knows that his last, best arrow
>has bounded back from the mark

>I sing for the breathless runner,
>The eager, anxious soul,
>who falls with his strength exhausted
>almost in sight of the goal

>For the hearts that break in silence,
>with a sorrow all unknown,
>For those who need companions,
>Yet walk their ways alone.

>There are songs enough for the lovers
>who share love’s tender pain
>I sing for the one whose passion
>is given all in vain

>For those whose spirit comrades
>have missed them on the way,
>I sing, with a heart o’erflowing
>this minor strain to-day

>And I know the Solar system
>must somewhere keep in space
>A prize for that spent runner
>who barely lost the race

>For the plan would be imperfect
>unless it held some sphere
>That paid for the toil and talent
>and love that are wasted here
