Most vtubers tend to drench their voices in reverb (I mean, why not, it sounds cool right?), which is why I'm guessing that anon is telling you to not use it at all, but I'll tell you how to get a more polished sound. For vocal reverb, in most cases any standard room reverb should do the trick if you want it to sound more intimate, otherwise I'd recommend using a plate reverb (or both in conjunction). 20-30ms of pre-delay to allow transients through, 1-2 seconds decay, highpass around 100-250hz to remove low end frequencies that can build up. If you're not using an auxiliary send channel and have the reverb on the same channel you're recording into, you'll have to play with the dry/wet settings, but I would recommend not pushing it above 30% wet in most cases unless you want a more ethereal sound or you're going for an 'arena' feel. My favorite reverbs are Universal Audio Lexicon 224 and Valhalla VintageVerb, but there's no shortage of good ones to choose from (2B Played Slimverb, Native Instruments Raum, Valhalla Plate, etc). There are also plugins that directly simulate an actual space such as IK Multimedia Sunset Studios (highly recommend this) and Purafied Audio's Panda Rooms. Also, a slap delay sounds good on vocals; find a delay and set it at 100-200ms with a very short feedback/reflection time. You can do this with just about any delay out there, even the crappy ones. Of course with all audio, you'll need to experiment a bit to find the exact settings to suit your voice and needs, but this should provide some decent starting points.
