I think I just witnessed one of the most painfully underwhelming “concert” a vtuber has ever put on.
The atmosphere was completely off because the lighting was so bad it killed any chance of immersion.
The crowd energy felt nonexistent, and no amount of flashy theatrics could make up for the absence of a genuinely hyped audience.
And honestly, the visuals did not help either. They were rough to look at and dragged the whole thing down even more.
>>
>>109502391
Dude this is like your fourth anti-densetsu thread today and you're still raiding her general.
Is everything okay at home?
>>
Thank God these things will never affect me
>>
>>109502543
>n-nobody cares
>cared enough to comment
You commented because it affected you
>>
>>109502539
I honestly do not get why you are acting like this or what point you think you are making.
As a Mint fan, this is one of the only ways we can actually give constructive feedback to our oshis.
With how the event was priced, I genuinely expected a full 3D performance.
At this point, her regular karaoke streams would have delivered way better vibes than whatever that concert was supposed to be.
>>
>>109502653
Anon, it was a jazz club.
You're not very convincing.
>>
>>109502391
>>109502653
just say you don't understand jazz
>>
>>109502391
Wasn't it a jazz show? That lighting looks appropriate for a jazz performance
>>
>>109502391
Idc, not really interested.
Hopefully more indies ex corpos try this, because it's risky.
>>
>>109502653
>trolling disguised as "constructive criticism"
if you are being genuine you will only keep it on her general
>>
>>109502796
>it's risky
That doesn't make it good.
>>
>>109502799
He tried. He samefagged himself for about 50 posts before getting bored and making catalog threads
>>
>>109502391
why did saba lower her en queen status as mint's lackey? was it really worth? is mint really the main character of vtubing?
>>
>>109502759
>>109502773
No, it was a vtuber concert.
With a screen that tiny and lighting that bad, it did absolutely nothing to elevate the experience.
Maybe a massive, hyped crowd could have salvaged the vibe and masked some of those issues, but that definitely was not the case this time.
>>
>>109502539
He's right though. It's pretty shameless to sell streaming tickets for this.
>>
>>109502653
>As a Mint fan
This retard doesn't even know how her fans are called. The Mint thread is dead at this time so this is when you decide to make your bait thread?
Come on, you're really not convincing.
>>
>>109502935
You argue emotionally like a woman and completely dodge the point.
And just because I’m a huge Mint fan doesn’t mean she’s the only vtuber I watch and support.
>>
>>109502391
I doubt you have ever gone to such a place. You need a thing called chill to fit in. Which you lack.
>>
>>109502895
Anon it was all jazz songs, at a jazz club, with a live jazz band. That is the authentic experience. Massive crowds and bright lights aren't how jazz shows work.
>>
>>109503070
Jazz shows don't have streaming tickets for those reasons.
>>
>>109502391

Wow... someone forgot what indie is. Too fat off the corpo teat are we? Don't worry, your refined taste won't trouble you any further if you add on a dash of gratitude.
>>
>>109503264
Hence why the streaming tickets were cheaper than venue tickets. You are only getting part of the experience so you only have to pay part of the price.
>>
>>109502653
>As a Mint fan
You're not fooling anyone.
>>
>>109503367
This. It’s Ike going to a local gymnasium show and complaining it’s not wrestlemania.
>>
>>109503368
fuck you it's an idol concert in my head and you can't convincing me otherwise.
>>
>>109502391
>Unpopular
>>
>>109502391
Mint's singing was trash
>>
I agree that it looks terrible when you're watching it on camera, but I've got a question, were you there in person? If not, then shut the fuck up, your opinion about crowd energy and atmosphere is meaningless
>>
>>109502653
>As a Mint fan, this is one of the only ways we can actually give constructive feedback to our oshis.
The first step in giving constructive feedback is to determine who it actually needs to be directed to.
Everything you list has nothing to do with Mint and her performance.
>>
man this ain't healthy
>>
>>109504200
Obviously, expecting Mint to become more skilled and talented is unrealistic and difficult.
It's simpler to focus on things that can actually be changed. For instance, targeting a bigger audience will always take priority, because in environments like concerts, the overall vibe often matters more than the performance itself.
>>
It's just a fun little concert thing she organized. It's not even supposed to be a big stage event. I dunno what's wrong with you guys.
>>
>>109504376
There's no big drama lately so every nothingburger shit is going to be magnified
>>
>>109504376
I get why we get defensive and act irrationally, I really do, but seriously, for the price, the performance should actually be worth it. Honestly, it fell short of expectations.
Her karaoke streams just feels way more intimate and enjoyable compared to this.
>>
>>109504479
>Honestly, it fell short of expectations.
It included Saba, Nimi, a bunch of others. That kind of singing performance would cost more than that at a club normally.
>>
>>109504479
shut the fuck up retard
>>
>>109504479
>for the price,
Streaming tickets cost less than a doordash delivery
And if you went in person, you were at a jazz club.
>>
>>109504479
>"I want it to be bigger and flashier!"
>"Oh but I also want it to be more intimate!"
Nigga pick a side and stick to it.
>>
>>109502799
It's called concern trolling
>>
>>109502391
It's one of the saddest concerts in history. Live2D, a tiny screen with a terrible viewing experience.
Any live stream at home is superior.
>>
>>109502391
Why the fucking seeth about this?
Is this deflection from Phase bending the knee to trannies?
>>
>>109505051
Numbermonkeys need their shot of dopamine because their usual sources are in a dry spell.
>>
>>109502539
>densetsu
What is that?
>>
>>109502653
>"This was one of the most painfully underwhelming "concerts" a vtuber has ever put on."
Fixed your ESL but also
>"this one of of the only ways we can give constructive feedback to our oshis."
Pick one you dumb fucking retard.
>>
>>109504954
No you dumb fuck, concern trolling involves "concern", the hint is in the fucking name you idiot.
>>
>>109504376
the problem is that she did an indie thing but also invited saba and numi. holoaudience are casuals who dont actually know how idol works, their entire perception is just the holobox. they got kicked out of /jp/ for being proud casuals and they still to this day think that they are somehow superior for not even trying to lurk.
>>
>>109505431
But... Saba and Nimi are also indie?
>>
>>109505483
anon was talking about their fanbases
>>
>>109503367
Stop spamming her in pcg you mother fucker
>>
>>109505494
their fanbases are indie too
>>
>>109502391
Is nobody going to mention Mint performing through a kiosk
>>
>>109505431
>holoaudience are casuals who dont actually know how idol works
Oh, so NOW it's a matter of not understanding idols? What happened to the "you don't understand jazz" argument?
>>
>>109504573
pleas understando it was expensive after his currency conversion.
>>
>>109504092
better than like 80-90% of holoen lmao
>>
>>109505006
>Live2D
she was 3D, retard. also she's actually performing live unlike prerecorded holos lmao
>>
>>109502391
Brass instruments don't record well as opposed to seeing live performance. Kys OP
>>
>>109504376
Call it what you want, but glossing over it won’t hide the fact that the concert was a letdown.
If you say she just did it for fun, fine. Otherwise, after all the planning, the performance and the concert itself are downright embarrassing to claim as serious.
>>
>>109506227
I haven't seen a negative review yet, live shows can't be judged fairly if you're not there. I think the biggest issue was at the door checking bags
>>
>>109503070
>Anon it was all jazz songs, at a jazz club, with a live jazz band. That is the authentic experience.
Now I know YOU have never been at a jazz concert because that's not what they look like at all. When have you last seen a jazzclub where the audience stands and waves penlights around?
>>
>>109505006
No amount of leeching she pulls off can make her talent or ability to perform on stage match the legitimate idol vtubers.
>>
>>109506294
That person was complaining about the venue's lighting being too dim. Dim lighting is a staple of jazz shows.
You are correct that penlights are not appropriate for jazz shows, so you are right to criticize the audience for not knowing better. Please direct your complaints to people on Twitter.
>>
>>109506298
>legitimate idol vtubers
KEK
>>
>>109502391
>the lighting was so bad
>The crowd energy felt nonexistent
Isn't the venue a jazz bar
>>
People keep mocking the small venue, but it’s actually the right size and budget for a Western VTuber. They just overestimate their own draw.
>>
>>109502539
>any kind of criticism makes you an anti
If this was about a corpo you would be called a bootlicker.
>>
>>109505051
>>109505258
entirety of phase lost against saba in a random popularity poll
they are going to dismiss it as nothingburger despite going all in as usual
>>
The concert was disappointing, yes, but your statement has nothing to do with the actual issues it had and the "you don't get it, it's jazz it's supposed to be like this" cope is beyond absurd.

No, I'm not gonna talk about the actual issues it had because your shithead anti ass will use it as ammo for more of your retarded threads.

Yes, the idiots coping about "muh jazz" are no different than you, they just are in the other corner of the argument but accomplish the same thin: shit up the board with nonsense fanatism.
>>
>>109502391
Wouldn't the lighting be the venue's problem rather than hers?
>>
>>109507411
>>109504537
>>
>>109505580
This isn't about mint it's the phoebe rare seething and saba seethe
>>
>>109507411
you're a holodrone bootlicker
>>
>>109506773
Maybe that's all Mint is capable of, but considering how much she charged for the concert, people expected something actually worth the price. Clearly, it didn’t deliver.
>>
I would buy the
>small, intimate jazz setting low key event
Cope more is she didn’t invite the two biggest idol indies in the industry to also perform at the show. You don’t get to be small and intimate and also invite Saba and Nimi.
