I'm watching Death Note for the first time and it's pretty entertaining but Light seems oddly stupid and has nearly gotten himself caught in the first few episodes (although I suppose it might be boring if he used the Death Note intelligently).It also doesn't seem like he has a very coherent plan for improving the world.
