>>109525405The biggest hurdle for JP indie vtubers and most agency vtubers (especially vtubers from JP agencies) is song perms. This is why most vtubers' song covers are of anime op. or ed. songs, or of Vocaloid songs; and also why most karaoke streams get privated within 5 minutes of the stream ending.There's also the issue involving songs distributed by Sony. They have a bad habit of not whitelisting streamers who have permission to sing their songs, resulting in those streams/videos being taken down for long enough for the algorithm to stop pushing them.
