The evilness of w*men knows no bounds...

I barely even about anime anymore. Nothing wrong with it, I just think I grew out of it.
>>
>>109539699
I mean statistically it has to be some
>>
>>109539699
Do kids still get bullied for liking anime? I thought this was a 90s/early 2000s thing

>has literally told stories how she was a closet weeb at school and bullied another girl who liked anime, but then when she went home her and that girl had a secret anime friendship
>>
>>109542865
A lot of vtubers are in their thirties
>>
>>109543903
if true, the toxic yuri is real and I hope that other girl found better friends
>>
>>109542865
I wasn't bullied for liking anime but I was in HS in the early 00s.

>Do kids still get bullied for liking anime?
As some who graduated in 2017, no
These people are like 30/40 years old and still traumatized have developed victim complexes because some kid in middle school called them gay for liking Sailor Moon or some shit lol

>some kid in middle school called them gay for liking Sailor Moon or some shit lol
Sheltered beyond belief if you think something as irrelevant and tame as this is what people are talking about
>>
>>109542865
They should. It's cringe.
>>
>>109546197
Well what the fuck are they talking about then?
Streaming wasn't really a thing until the 2010s, so your options are pretty limited to local broadcast or ordering/rent VHS tapes

Bullying in the form that it was depicted around the mid-2000’s is largely a thing of the past. As a zoomer I find it so fucking funny that millennials had to worry about being shoved into their lockers for liking DND or some shit.

meangirl to vtuber pipeline?

>>109539699
kiara was definitely a passive aggressive bully
>>

Veibae is the one that sticks out instantly. Indies in general are a mixed bag, I don’t really think people like Numi or Bao were mean people in school.

Current and former small corpo vtubers are definitely the ones who fit this category the best though and I don’t know why. You can tell that half of Phase were massive bitches in high school, other mentions goes to Mozzu and Menace, those two deserve each other.

For the two big corpos, I think they’re similar to indies to this regard, but the extremes skew the distribution slightly. Enna is actually just crazy and Kiara does give out mean energy, and not in the sexy kind of way either.

Around 2004 I only caught shit for liking anime because people lumped me in with the very unattractive weeb girl who was obsessed with Inuyasha. All those Saturday morning 4Kids/Funimation shounens were extremely popular anyway. Now that I'm in my 30s, some women think I shouldn't be watching kids cartoons though
>>
>>109539699
A lot of vtubers are the kinds of mean girls who think they were hot in hs so they're still hot at 35 and deserve to farm nreds for free money while sucking their bf's dick.

Lia is a special case because she is retarded.

I've seen plenty of chuubas say that the vtubing sphere has become like high school, with cliques, gossip, drama, etc.
>>
>>109543903
she also wore cosplay and j fashion shit to school and can barely look at herself in the mirror without remembering it and dying of cringe
>>
>>109546999
Anon, that was a TV thing. It rarely happened IRL

>>
>>109539699
My friend group and I were into anime from 4th grade to maybe 7th grade mainly dragon ball and Gundam wing. This was between 99 and 2002 whe. Anime was starting be be accepted. But we made fun of this kid who liked you gu oh and called it you gay ho and he cried.
>>
>>109553120
bullies at the time didnt know what naruto was, they went with calling them forrest gump from what i recall
>>
>>109547162
I think it's safe to say that a good number of streamers were bullies in school. People like that crave attention and validation, and often have charisma that they weaponize for personal gain.
>>
>>109543903
Yea when she isn't getting her back blown out for all male you looks her way of course.
