Hololive uses "health" breaks to hide contract fights and stealth suspensions so eventually anyone with common sense becomes skeptical. Kanata is the one graduation in 2025 that likely did have major health issues that required her to quit but even she complained about management. Cover does sell the idol waifu illusion and they need fans to believe that talents love their employer which is why they go to absurd lengths to hide any disputes.

You can in fact just take a forever hiatus at Hololive and come back when you're better. There are clear financial reasons why the Cover NDA forbids them from disparaging their employer even with honest complaints. Sana is one of the talents who left Hololive with a dispute with management (vaguely worded in her graduation announcement) with no other explanation for why she would have left after only 1 year. A model design is one of the few things that talents can't complain about directly and it really is the hardest thing to get in Hololive (because of how much of their revenue comes from merch sales). The one time Ina complained about revealing outfits she vanished for 3 months while telling viewers she had considered graduation.

Sana's RM is still using a bird PNG in 2026 so I don't think she liked the sexy waifu design as much as you think she did. I do think how management treated Sana is one of the reasons that Mumei eventually decided to leave. Korone mentioning Sana recently after giving a birthday gift to Roa (Shion after her indie debut) indicates that a few talents believe that management was unfair in not finding a way to settle these disputes.
