What went wrong?
>>109726138Did they purposefully make themselves look like Doki and Mint in this thumbnail?
>>109726138wdym? nothing changed
>>109726138Reimu sends her regards
>>109726181I honestly thought OP was making a joke edit by changing Doki vs Mint to millie and enna, but no. They're ACTUALLY trying to clickbait views by using the likenesses of the (much more successful) girls that they bullied, holy KEK
>>109726181>>109726948It’s from official yankee themed merch they had some time ago. Millie had the funny coincidence of looking like Doki. I dont see much of Mint in Enna though
>>109726989as you cope sister
>>109726181Wtf, the hair accessories are almost exactly the same as the alt-girl outfit, I didn't even notice that it wasn't Doki at first glance
>>109726138I decree their unit name to be "Pag Smear"
>>109726181>>109726138kek
>>109726138>What went wrong?Nothing? It's just been 8 days, this is normal.
Why dont these two retire already? Are they even making that much anymore at Riku's pump and dump?
>>109726138everything
>>109729097Millie has been povertybegging that's all, but both of them have repeatedly declared that they will never graduate and swore fealty to Riku-samait's not like their roommates would get viewers anyway so no there's really no reason to leave since they will never settle for flipping burgers
>>109726138They look like total cuties
>>109729274This world needs more sukeban vtubers
>>109726181
>>109726138I really thought it was doki and mint for a second. Probably (hopefully) wasn't intentional but still funny. Millie having the same hairclips is funny, but I don't know enough about the alt scene to know if that was a common thing or not. >>109726989For enna it's mostly just the highlights she always had. I usually associate those with mint, but enna did also always have them.
>>109726138wait holy shit. I was curious so I checked...In lighter news, Doki might actually hit her 800k goal to do a Sk8r Boi cover.
>Two absolutely insufferable bitches>In a corpo where the fanbase actively hates female vtubers>Why did it flop?Gee I wonder.
>>109726181That really is uncanny
>>109726138>>109726181Literally thought it was DokiMint cover
>>109726138it's not even fun to shitpost about Niji anymore. them still being a thing in 2026 is just sad.
>>109726181Success breeds jealousy
>>109726138That's a weird looking Doki and mint
>>109729252It's not like they're currently getting viewers anyway. Everyone in Niji EN is either "honorary Niji JP" or "indie with extra steps," and Enna and Millie aren't exactly the first people who spring to mind when you think "honorary Niji JP."But Millie is scheduled to appear at a panel at Nijifes, so she wouldn't be able to leave before May anyway. ....funny thing about this year's Nijifes, nobody from any (ex-)branch is scheduled to be at more than one panel, nor at a panel and also one of the four concerts, nor at two or more concerts (and half of EN isn't scheduled to appear at all)
>>109740615>....funny thing about this year's Nijifes, nobody from any (ex-)branch is scheduled to be at more than one panel, nor at a panel and also one of the four concerts, nor at two or more concerts (and half of EN isn't scheduled to appear at all)Not surprised at that. There's just too many members to slot in anywhere. So who's left out entirely? There a list?
>>109741714I know for sure Enna's not attending, and am pretty sure Scarle and Ryoma will also be absent.Elira, Finana, and Millie are gonna be at one panel alongside 3 of the guys; Klara is gonna be at a different panel; and Petra and Meloco are gonna be at the girls only concert. I think Ren is also gonna be at one of the concerts, though obviously not the girls only concert.Dunno off the top of my head who else is or isn't attending, or which panels or stages they'll be at. But I do know that at last year's Fes, some EN livers were at both the stage and a panel despite there being some EN livers who were at neither, so "too many livers and not enough slots" probably isn't the reason for this year's absences. To answer your last question, there is a list. Nijisanji published promotional details a few months ago, including the panel rosters and the posters for the four concerts. I'm too fat and American to look for it right now.
>>109742882Enna not in a concert slot is surprising. Also not surprised EN doesn't get its own stage this year. I still can't fathom why they did that last time. It makes more sense for them to be grouped in with all the others at this point, anyways.
>>109744257>I still can't fathom why they did that last time.Spite.They did it solely to spite the overseas fans.THAT's why they did it last time. The company did it to spite the western fans for shunning them, for forcing them to cancel what would have been the company's and the company's golden boys' first concert outside of East Asia. They did it to spite the western fans for our decision to side with Doki instead of the company after the black stream, and for our overwhelmingly negative response to Riku's "apology" video. That spite is the same reason that they chose the black screen trio to be front and center for the concert taking place in the black screen anniversary month. There were eight EN livers at that concert, and the company had lots of options for how to make the poster composition; and they chose to rub the western fans' noses in it.This year's concerts are EN's honorary JP livers sharing the stages with the actual JP livers, and Fes happens to fall on the same weekend as EN's 5th anniversary. The theme seems to be "Nijisanji EN never existed in the first place, please enjoy this show featuring some Nijisanji livers who just happen to be fluent in English"Again, the point is to spite the western fans. I don't know when Anycolor actually booked the venue, but I'm pretty sure they booked it after they cancelled the AX show but before Nijifes 2025 took place - this would explain why they "accidentally" timed it to overlap EN's anniversary.
>>109744708>They did it solely to spite the overseas fans.Maybe less spite and more "okay let's test the waters if japan likes them" I guess.
>>109744708>They did it solely to spite the overseas fansNo way, plain and simple. Sure, I haven't kept up with Niji in two years, but this is a business and offending your customers just for the sake of it would be outright nonsensical.I know that the Japanese almost worship brands as much as Americans or the Thirdies over at /#/, but what's the business strategy in this supposed to be?
>>109745859They'd already permanently lost the overseas market by that point, and they knew exactly why the west was forever lost to them. While there was a certain element of what >>109745694 said, the whole "warming up the JP audiences to the EN livers" was only a small factor. They had 31 livers to choose from to perform on stage, and at least 23 of those livers (and potentially up to 28 of them) had 3D models ready to go. They had plenty of options for a lineup of eight performers. And even if they had not changed the livers they chose, there was still plenty of different ways to advertise the EN stage, and plenty of time to do it. They chose to do it in a way which was deliberately offensive to the westerners who had abandoned the company, and specifically because the westerners had abandoned the company; but at the same time would not be offensive to their actual customers (the JP fans). Niji JP fans living in Japan, and whose access to information regarding Selen's termination was limited exclusively to the Japanese language version of her termination notice, would not have noticed anything which could have potentially been even the least bit offensive to any reasonable person; while former Niji EN fans living outside of Japan, with access to information such as the contents and timing of the black screen, Doki's response to the same, and the contents and context of Riku's "apology" video, would very easily recognize the giant middle finger Anycolor had given the westerners in that poster.tldr - they were not trying to offend their customers, they were intentionally trying to offend non-customers in a way which would go unnoticed by their actual customers.
