Would your oshi be sad if you stopped watching her streams or interacting with her altogether? Or do you think it doesn't matter to her?
>>109789627the lower the view the more you matter but one thing all streamers big and small have in common is seeing you as a walking atm and nothing more.
>>109789627Yes she would because she's said she feels sad and guilty if fans leave her or just disappear. In my case I'm not around enough for her to really know if I'm gone or just busy. I do feel guilty for not being more active but her stream hours are kinda shit for my schedule.
I used to fly Kiara's banner when the whole Hololive English thing was new, but she's awake when I'm asleep and vice versa nowadays.I like her still, obviously, but there's nothing I can do about it, plus in reality I'm just a random gray name in chat. I'm not sure how much I could expect her to care.
>>109789627i've said hi to her so many times i'm sure it would be noticeable, don't know if it would matter
My oshi has like 5 to 10 viewers so she might care a little, I've probably been there the longest.
as one of the few nonretards in chat that shows up every stream and replyguys as many tweets as i can, my absence would be deafening. i realize how egotistical that sounds but its the truth. i've ingrained myself deep into her community. things are going great at the moment and keep getting better. so i don't have any reason to stop showing up/interacting.
>>109789627no
>>109789627I'm afraid my Oshi thinks I'm her biggest fan at this point
>>109789627No because my oshi isn't a 2 view
>>109794808"I mean nothing to her" is not something to take pride in
>>109789627My Oshi doesn't even know i exist, since i never post in chat or on XI'm a silent watcher, observing only from a distance
>>109789627she'd be happier without me just like everyone else
Kiara? I've been watching since early 2021, but I'm not there live most of the time because she streams at work hours in the US. I can sometimes catch her live if she's playing for a particularily long time and have had a few interactions on stream with her in chat. I don't think she'd ever really notice.FWMC? Not one bit. There are far more people dedicated to spamming them with money and attention than I am. As their old persona I know they knew who I was. I didn't chat a ton but could catch a decent amount of their streams live, plus I was in the discord and would show up for most of the calls. They might remember my name from that time if they saw it, but I don't really do twitter and have been watching less and less of their content over the last year.
>>109794769well are you?
>>109797212I don't think in such terms, I just give all I can to help push her
I have never interacted with any VTuber or even announced my presence in any way.
>>109798802Liking tweets shows up on their radar
>>109798809I don't use twitter either.
My oshi would for sure notice, but she also tries to not show how old fans leaving gets to her. I also took 1-2 week breaks twice last year, so I don't know if she would catch on that I moved on right away. I am consistently commenting on things, talking in her chat and donating on occassion, so I'm kinda hard to miss. Altho, now that I say that, I wonder if I should have so much precense.
>>109789627I sent my Oshi a marshmallow before I had a surgery so she doesn't think I suddenly left
>>109789627I don't think there's a single vtuber around that would notice or care if a single viewer disappeared. Maybe if you were a paypig in their discord they would note your absence on their monthly income report but otherwise no way.The relationship between entertainer and fan is too onesided for any individual viewer to be memorable just for showing up and being in chat. If you were a major creator of fan content, an oil baron-tier paypig or a someone with relevant professional skills whom they regularly collaborate with then it might be a different question but I honestly doubt they even pay much particular attention to those either.
>>109800250If you have a pretty slow chat, it's easy to notice someone who's active in it stop showing up, because it's one less name talking somewhat constantly. Even for 2 to low 3 views, one active chatter disappearimg can make your chat window look like a ghost town. For someone like that a single person might feel bad for a bit, but you'll move on. For anyone mid 3view and above, it's only money or artists/content revolving around you that will feel missed.
>>109800250Don't be so cynical, plenty of vtubers out there care a lot more than that
>>109789627She's probably noticed my absence lately simply because I was a big chatter when she went back to being indie, but she almost exclusively streams at 4am for me which just isn't feasible for me to watch live most of the time
Once I tweeted into the void that I wouldn't be around for 2 weeks and my oshi gave it a like.I think she is special in how much she stalks her fans
