Probably most of them knew at least partially what was happening but either got paid to stay quiet or were too afraid of the backlash. It's hard to ignore the fact that Melody's fucker was pulling the strings behind entire company. What we know now is that Vshojo came to be because Gunrun was gooning to Melodys CB streams and because of his interest in VTubing, his obsession with Hololive and his background in the EN streaming sphere through his involvement with JustinTV, now Twitch, wanted to start his own EN agency. Melody likely founded the beginnings of the agency which gave her enough leverage that her boyfriend (now likely husband) Daniel "Apek" Sanders got a nepo hire job as the CFO and given how VShojo turned out, it is unlikely that he has any mathematical or financial knowledge. Melody furthermore recruited other talents through her friendships with other EN Vtubers like Ironmouse or Silvervale. To me it seems like for all this work Melody became a sort of shadow board member, not official, but with huge influence together with her boyfriend over the direction of the company. Maybe she even got a large stock share as compensation and could therefore call the shots
