I have a question for OG sammies: do you like the croc more or less than the anglerfish?I'm not talking about the design, the lore, or the model, and I'm not talking about the macroscopic differences in environment (amount of viewers, genmates, platform…)I'm talking about the subtle differences in SOVL that a different character and:a different work environment bring out of an improv actress / streamer.She clearly strikes a chord with a lot of people, me included, and I'm already quite fond of her, but I wonder if the OGs feel that something subtle got lost or changed along the way. Because in other cases, where I was among the OGs, it did happen.
>>109977540I can't speak for everyone and I know there are others who feel differently but the only differences I notice are the facts that she has a higher CCV so it's easier to get lost in the chat and she has no server to interact with her in or do watchalongs. Everything else feels the same, and I don't prefer one or the other, because as fish we got to be closer to her but as croc we get to watch her live out one of her dreams. We still get to interact with her a lot, for instance in her youtube chat which she hangs out in more than she used to when she's not streaming.

Community was a pretty strong point when she was an indie, and that part is virtually gone and the streamer/viewer dynamic has changed to something far more transactional. Her streaming content and energy is mostly the same, but it also feels more sterile and artificial, which makes sense given she was cast for this role as opposed to her tailoring her role to herself as she used to. It's not such a massive difference that it feels noticeably worse, but there's a lot that I miss from before and a lot that I'm disappointed with that I just have to accept.
