Think kind of how in Japan, the average rating is 3 stars on review sites instead of 5 stars being everywhere in America. It might sound like a very autistic way to view compliments, but I assure you that people with self-confidence issues think about this stuff.

Like on the Pokotopia stream I hit a crit on her just by reassuring her that Piwwos enjoy spending time with her, even if she’s not putting in 100%, because spending time with her is enough. She’s a girl who hasn’t received a lot of love for most of her life, and she’s always stressed out and worried about not being enough for Piwwos. Not being entertaining enough, not being funny enough, not working hard enough, and as a result, losing the love and care that she has. Once you start thinking about how she feels, you can connect that to how you feel, and then what you say from there is just a little negotiation between the two of those.
