Saw a few posters of FWMC, mostly group ones at the con I was at. The general vtuber presence overall was pretty down compared to last year. There were a few Gura-esque things around, I saw a Nerissa friends with u plushie someone planted up on a game council they were playing, and there was a goober running around in the Pero hat on Friday. Most of the FWMC stuff was repeats from the last 2 years so I didn't get anything to show off from the artist alley

She was getting a bunch of interaction from people just waiting around for their drink.

Right now we're in another drought, there's been a ton of graduations, and it feels like 2022 before Advent debuted again. Interest wanes, and the way to keep that interest is to keep streams going. Because then when the stream watchers watch those, more fanart, interest, and buzz is generated. If your favorite sports league suddenly stopped playing new games, there's only so much time you could waste talking about the stars of old before you got bored and moved onto new things.Obviously I don't think we need something like a new gen every 6 months, but I feel like 1 new gen a year wouldn't be too much, especially if the last gen doesn't stream often.

Memeable moments are what casuals love, and those can only happen with streams and stream events. The idol stuff and ads are for people deep into it. Kiara has been the runt of Myth since Day 1 and yet KFP are always a formidable presence at every event. Her merch doesn't sell gangbusters but it sells well, better than other Holos with similar numbers. It's because she streams, she's not the best dancer or singer around but her core fans will show up for her events because they're constantly engaged. It's probably also one of the only reasons she got a duolive.
