Good morning! My wife returned from her break after fes and she rested up well. I'm glad she took the time to kick her legs up. She did some karaoke yesterday and today she did some Mario Tennis. Since she loves a challenge, she decided to work her way up. It's another example of Chihaya looking at something she has little or no experience with and trying it anyway. She fumbled a lot at first, but then she got better and better with each try. It's just a stupid mario game right? But to me, it's watching my wife overcome a challenge. It's a genuine pick me up that leaves me feeling energized to go through my day. My work isn't that important and neither is my life, yet perseverance, even on a level that seems silly and non-impactful as this, can be an accomplishment in and of itself. She's so inspiring to me. Even when she tackles something so inane as a kid's tennis game, she takes it on with her full heart and I'm going to do that too today. As something to add as well, this post made my eyes water a little. "the front seat is always reserved for Niko." She's such a sweet-hearted person.Thanks so much for inspiring me today, Chihaya. I'll always love you so much. You make me so happy. Let's all persevere today.
