So having the opportunity would have been a genuine life-changer for me and out of gratitude I would have done so so much with the role I legit believe.You might think that when I found out the role went to someone that was initially assumed to get it because of their connections or corpo history I felt bitter. But I think the fact the person was genuinely thankful to play the characters and is always so genuine/sweet in his idol journey softened the blow a ton. I still grieve quite a bit but more at the idea of how much better off my life would have been (at least financially) if I did get that opportunity, yet I'm always happy when I see the person who did get it and he's my Lamentus oshi. It probably helps that I also believe I wouldn't have gotten in cuz of a weak portfolio anyways, and that the person who did would have probably gotten in even without the advantage he did have.
