A lot of the big corpos or big indies are been botted or followers/subscribers are bots.If an account has millions of followers yet only pulls in four digit viewers or less there is a good chance a lot of those followers are bots.And you know what I say? Why shouldn't they? It's advertising, marketing and perception. People will want to watch what is popular so why not give them the impression something is popular so they can check it out, if it's crap or not to their taste they will move on but if it's good or what they like they would not have a chance to experience it without been given the impression it's popular.
