I'm actually not particularly horny in regards to my game, there's only so many thousands of hours you can spend messing with meshes, textures, layers, rendering, shadows, before you start to see the characters as just an assembly of polygons and texture files. The primary reason I chose to write an adult visual novel is because I played a few during my visual novel arc and realized that the quality barrier is extremely low. You only need to be writing something mildly okay and it's immediately considered really awesome compared to the other entries. There's a bunch of other factors involved in why I figured it was smart to make it this way, but that's the main one. Basically, it was mostly for practical reasons.
