>It was 345 days between the debut of Gen 1 and Gen 2>it was 706 days between the debut of Gen 2 and Gen 3>it was 327 days between the debut of Gen 3 and Gen 4>it has been 649 days between the debut of Gen 4 and todayIt's been well over the average wait between these gens of 506.75 days, and the longest wait would be reached on May 28th 2026. Assuming Hololive isn't done making EN vtubers and ceding energy to other companies and indies, we're overdue and close to waiting longer than any generation before.I remember a post stating Hololive is seeking talent, so we should be coming up to another generation soon. Do you think it will be unveiled soon, and what theme could they do for the girls that generation?Personally I'd like a generation based on the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and just break them up into semi-separate gens like Advent and Justice if that's too much at once.

No Gura no watch
yagoo himself said he wants to focus on supporting existing talents instead of introducing new ones and thinning out their resources
>>110736679No one wants to subject themselves to black Japanese companies anymore. They see more freedom and better opportunities in Phase and the /lig/sphere.
>>110737264They're still seeking new hires, someone's gonna bite.
Jp new gens are failing and graduating already? New ones won't save the company
>>110736949lol lmao enjoy your no-streams, retard
>>110737264>Phase>freedom
>>110736679We're not getting EN5 until someone from Justice gets 1M subs. Or hell, let's say 900k subs. 800k? 700k?
>>110736679Gen 5 will be announced on the same day Saba streams
>>110739800The other way aroundSaba will stream when Gen 5 will be announced.
>>110738599subs are no longer an important metric of success

I'd like a gen full of girls who actually stream consistently and are CGDCT. We've had lazy whores and CGDCT girls who stop streaming after the few months.
How many gens can Hololive realistically sustain while getting new audience for them instead of spreading their existing one thin? There's like 50+ talents there at the moment, around 60 including dev_is. EN is 16 out of this, so close to 30% of HL is EN. How often and at what hours they stream is another thing altogether. There's also ID that often streams in english anyway.I can see a new EN gen not gaining popularity fast unless they are natural hits and really put in a lot of work.
