The suits closed the ID branch concurrently with the KR branch so that they wouldn't have to tell their investors that they were closing the KR branch due to gross mismanagement.I don't know how well ID was doing at the time in absolute terms, but they were doing well enough that they were in the middle of auditions for what would have been their 7th wave, and well enough that all 19 members were allowed to merge into the main branch (as opposed to half of KR getting culled)
