I am surprised that Cover made all the budget cuts at once but I guess that is better than rolling the cuts out gradually which is more demoralizing to employees. Also for some reason Cover likes to announce bad news in April which is when they threw out the Gura, Mumei, and Shion graduations. I still remember the Mumei rant when she was angry with management for rushing out her graduation date and for not letting her use the 3D studio for her graduation live. Cover only cares about the talents in terms of merch sales and they have made that really obvious in 2025 and 2026.
