I don’t think Pillow has any issues with Fauna. I still remember Pillow congratulating Fauna during a stream on December 2023 for winning an ASMR award. The only reason people think Pillow has some kind of beef with Fauna is because Pillow was visibly sad at not winning that same ASMR award in 2024 after she put all the effort into making the first ever ASMR Parade and going all into making even more ASMR content

I wouldn't know because I can't bring myself to hear Pillow singing. I know I won't be able to think anything good about it. However, Pillow has been practicing for months now, and I think at one point hired a voice coach. I don't doubt Pillow probably has an experience advantage.

Absolutely untrue. Most vtubers have been singing for many years. Pillow only started within the last year and a half or so, and she only had her voice coach for less than a year. Last I checked, Nene has been singing for more than a decade, she's been doing this stuff even before she was a vtuber, which goes for most of the girls. That's part of why REM's concert was frustrating, because people were comparing Pillow to a bunch of girls with 4x her experience and calling her shit.

Eh... I don't think so unless I am mistaken. Nene has a music background and taught instruments but I think 2021 was her first time seriously singing. But she has had a lot of practice and a serious professional coach to work with.
Pillow sounds better now imo than Nene was when she started back then so she should be proud.

Yeah man, I know. Any skill has a person being shit when they start. Unfortunately for Pillow, I think she doesn't think "I have a lot of room to grow", she thinks that she sucks and should stop singing and that she's just annoying the Piwwos who she loves every time she sings. Hence why she avoids it so hard that she's had a whole music video ready to go, but has procrastinated actually sending out the vocals because she's mortified and upset by her singing. It makes me feel bad for her, but at the same time I know that anything I say to encourage her just feels hollow because I'm a Piwwo, and she generally assumes Piwwos are always just being nice to her because we love her.
