If something as "small" as the audition can already prove difficult for you to handle then how can they be sure that you'll manage when its something more tangential like a big project or a manesan being a dick to you or whatever?Also corpos kinda place themselves in a position of vulnerability when choosing a talent because if a talent is menhera or ill-intentioned enough they can *really* hurt a corpo, specially in a context where most of the fanbase is already biased in favor of the talents above the agencies. For mixing I would recommend you to get some good audio monitoring gear (that is to say, at least a decent pair of earphones) and pay close attention. Also don't use Audacity, use Reaper or a similar DAW. Reaper can have quite a bit of a learning curve but mannnnn is it a powerful program.With singing, I'd say truly listen to your body and pay close attention to ALL the muscles inside you and how you can control even those tiny muscles you didn't even know existed to shape and control the sound and airflow for both speaking and singing. Remember always, for phonation your focus is *control*, not *pushing*. Also singing is like speaking but in an athletic mode, and viceversa.
