>be picrel artist>work for Hololive>get exposed for using AI>panic mode>open AI again>"pls generate sketch">upload sketch on X (formerly Twitter)>pretend it’s mine
>>111222643Oh my God. Who, the hell, cares.
She's really gone huh
>>111222643>pretend this matters
>>111222643based and ai pilled
>>111222643I'm 100% convinced most vtuber artists today are using ai in someway. Maybe as refernce generator maybe as a base they touch up (and hopefully the ai quirks) after. Or maybe like OP where they just use it and pass it off as they made it.
>>111222643That doesn't look like Ai at all.
saar please do the needful and use the ai saar
>>111222643It's LITERALLYLIT.ER.AL.LY.fine whenever Hololive does it.When any other vtubers do it? You know I'll be first in line to shit on them. But Hololive? S'all good. Based, even.
>>111223014LOLI appreciate your honesty
>>111222842im not a vtuber artist but i use it for making better sketches and lineart
>>111222643The sketch looks legit. Do you have any actual reasoning for your assessment other than trying to start shit?
>>111223014this but unironically
>>111226056This
>>111222842If it wasn't for using AI, they'd be using random ass Pinterest folders of poses they've saved, or similar. Most artists do the same exact workflow.AI sped it up, but it didn't take away from their overall lack of skill in regards to drawing poses. It doesn't make it bad, it just means they didn't care enough to focus on free-form drawing practices. Most artists are like this. From drawing fanart to gamedev to film to anime. You see countless examples of people tracing over environments and adding filters to make backgrounds, or tracing over 3D models to get proper body proportions or keep certain details consistent from different angles, or taking random bits of images, cropping them out and assembling some pose and sketching over that.AI is yet another process people use for doing that part.At the end of the day it's all using someone elses material, usually, unless they went out and took the pictures / made the models themselves.I've traced over my own body plenty of times to get weird ass angles looking right.
>>111222842It's extremely easy to tell which artists use AI, because the poses become bland as fuck
>>111222643sounds like speculation, the artist can draw proper kanatans since October 2024 when AI gen was even more dogshithttps://x.com/UeKana9/status/1850569563903291626
>>111226056Pippa killed her pet rabbit deflection
>>111222643>artists sperg out that AI is taking their jobs>artists also get caught using AI to cheat their clients
>>111222842if you watch an 'art' stream its barely even art anymore. everything autofills, autocorrects, autohighlights, really its no different than AI, just more steps. they make a rough outline and the computer does the rest for them. That's why I can't take the AI whiners seriously, none of these bitches could draw worth a shit without it anymore
>>111229383So true it fucking hurts. The majority of the artists that I have seen whining do/use:brushes that place whole textures down, from the edges of dresses to grass, wood grain to entire hair-stylesfilters of all kinds, whether it is blurs, pixelizations, turbulent distortions and everything elsegrabbing assets straight off google without paying for themThe first 2, yeah, you could give some concessions there, the last one, the last one is the single biggest reason they hate AI and they're doing the same fucking thing the AI companies did!The first 2 are essentially no different to the process of tweaking AI values and prompt values to get some desired effect, sitting there redrawing the same edge over and over again until it looks right, literally RNG.Until they've drawn traditional art, I do not consider most artists "artists". You're not a true artist unless you know how to draw blurred edges IRL. As the saying goes, "Photoshop is for quitters", draw your blurs in Paint, fucko.
>>111227582>AI sped it up, but it didn't take away from their overall lack of skill in regards to drawing poses. Most artists always used poses, even before we had photos. What are you trying to say here, basically nobody draws 100% from memory and it takes dozens if not hundreds of hours drawing reference poses to be able to draw and visualize them. That's also why drawing mannequins, reference books and live-drwaing model classes exist. You literally cannot draw something unless you've at least seen it enough that it's in your memory.
>>111230496That is my point. Most of them don't bother to learn that skill in the first place, they just draw from reality, whether it's tracing over the edges of 3D models or IRL models. Most of them don't go through the effort of learning how to draw from reference and even less do from memory. There's nothing inherently wrong either way, but those are the ones that whine the loudest about lack of skills when they themselves lack the skills. They are egotistical gatekeepers who don't want anyone else "learning". Overwhelmingly so.That's why the furries and niche fetish types are the most annoyed - all their Patreon bucks are drying up because others stopped going to them for sub-par porn games.
do people even care or look at those types of pictures for more than a second?what the fuck is the point here?does it matter to the user/client/people watching it whether it's made by AI or not, especially considering most of them couldn't tell the difference anywaysforced, fake and meaningless drama with nothing to gain from either parties, feels like a pointless waste of time from all parts
>>111230824Nooo, get mad, have an opinion on it!! You have to! Thems the rules! It's honestly sad.Social media has went to shit because of these retards trying to force stupid fucking hivemind culture or cancelling you for not immediately agreeing.Doesn't matter what angles you have on debates, it always always always has to be binary or you are their enemy for life.
>>111222643Always knew Kanata was AI.
Spend 100 hours on an illustrationorSpend 10 hours on cleaning up AI slopYour pay is the same. What do you do?
>>111236355I do what I was paid to do. I was paid to illustrate, not to clean up AI.
>>111222898Part of the psyop to get everyone using AI is to accuse everyone of using AI. Whether they get frustrated and quit, or give up their resistance to AI since people think they're doing it anyway, the corpos win
